For my self review I chose to use 5 different colors. 1 different color for each source that I used, as well as a color for what my claims and opinions were. I really enjoyed this method because it helped me see clearly how much information that I was using from each source. This being said, I got the idea about whether or not I should take some information from a source out, or, try to find more information from a source that I could integrate into my final paper. This method also allowed me to see the amount of material that I contributed to the paper. It helped me notice that I needed to add a little bit more “I say” into my final draft. Overall, I’d say my self review went really well because it helped me see things that I wouldn’t have noticed if I hadn’t done it, without it, my paper would not have improved the amount that it did.
