In my Big Data essay, I did a really good job going back and changing my phrases and sentence structures to make sure that I didn’t have any empty wording, such as “due to the fact” or “it is.” In the past, I have struggled a lot with the wording of my sentences, as I continuously add in unnecessary words. This time, I focused a lot of my attention to try and avoid empty wording in my Big Data essay. I don’t think I have to worry anymore about this issue while continuing to revise my essay before the due date. What I am going to focus on while revising is my in-text citations. I want to make sure that I frame all of my quotes so that they are more effective in my essay, and I also want to go back and look at Little Seagull to make sure I have tone my in-text citations correctly. I also need to work on my works cited page. I have trouble knowing what type of source I am using, therefore, I get mixed up sometimes about how it is supposed to be cited. I need to do some more research to figure out which way is the correct way to cite my sources. Other than that, I really think that my essay is pretty strong.
