SM Documentation/Sentence-Level

When it comes to my writing, I have always had an issue with comma splices and run-on sentences. I never know when my sentence starts to become to long, but it usually does because I add in so many commas. I think part of the problem with this is that I don’t fully understand when the correct time to use a colon or semicolon is. Therefore, in this piece of writing, my main focus was to eliminate most, if not all, of my comma splices and run-on sentences. Also, I have always had problems with knowing how to do the correct in-text citations when including a source into my paper. In this paper, I made sure that I knew the correct placement of punctuation, as well as when I need to include the author’s last name and when I didn’t.
